The book involves: Drug war, romance, military action, police, murder, intrigue, corruption, homeland security, terror, torture, combat, terrorism, drama, adventure, compassion, Army Special Forces, and constitutional issues. American murders are growing in the escalating drug war along the border with Mexico.
